Hi!  I'm Emily...

If I have learned anything, Life is a beautiful, awful mess.  Mine has been no different.

I grew up the oldest of 4, born in Iowa in July '85.  I spent most of my childhood moving from place to place until my family finally settled in Minnesota.  I graduated from Eagan High School in 2003 and met the love my life that year as well.

We married in September '05 and had our first son (Evan) June '06.  In the summer of 2011 we decided to add to our family - we were sadden that our second pregnancy ended in a miscarriage in August '11.  After a few months of healing we were excited to learn we were pregnant with our second son (Alexander) who was born September '12.

Besides being a wife & mother, I am also a PPD survivor & spent most of my teen years & early 20's trying to manage my depression & anxiety.  I'm happy to say I have finally found my peace in my two beautiful boys & loving husband.  Life is still not perfect, but I have learned to find the beauty in the mess of it.
